Methodological services for the specific needs of users are ranging from assistance in developing a questionnaire, entering survey data, statistical analysis, support in survey implementation and counselling/teaching the use of 1KA, to writing reports, planning research projects, conducting counselling for complex projects and full implementation of survey research.

Important: 1KA methodological services relate primarily to the preparation of the 1KA questionnaire (A1), advanced methodological (A2, A3) and project (A4) assistance. We do not offer assistance for master's and doctoral theses. In this case, we suggest that you contact one of the other providers.

Technical services include standardized technical services, such as enabling advanced functions that users can use for a specific survey, restoration of deleted questionnaires or data, setting up a virtual domain or own installation on the 1KA server, as well as adjustment services, such as engineer support with installation, additional programming or system help.

At the outset, it should be stressed that:

  1. Using service for web surveying is free and unlimited on the 1KA web server, of Centre for Social Informatics (CSI), Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, on the www.1ka.si domain, where also parent installation of 1KA application is.
  2. The transfer of files and instructions for installing open source 1KA application on users’ own server is also free. Experience shows that users who have their own competent technical support, can carry out the installation by themselves, easily and without additional questions.
  3. 1KA support team helps users for free, within the scope of replying to the form of Help desk. However, free help is limited only to explanations of questions, removing misunderstandings and guiding users to existing video tutorials, manuals and frequently asked questions.
  4. We deal, of course, with all cases of technical problems or errors in the operation of 1KA on www.1ka.si domain, free of charge.

All other requests from users that require individual treatment and extra time consumption of 1KA team (methodological or technical services listed above), will be charged at a non-profit rate. Price of services, which wary depending on the complexity of the work, are listed in the price list.
